Non-Compliance, Resistance to Therapy

I observed that many of our young patients and their families had been referred to us or approached us on their own accord, having previously refused to cooperate with other forms of psychotherapy. The entities of Non-compliance, Resistance to therapy, and Reactance were researched early in the research process, and especially the reasons for their existence and how they could be overcome.

Ofer, as a practitioner, working and expert in the field, joined to help me, with my need to explore how to approach this population therapeutically, and specifically, how to overcome non-compliance. By this inquiry, a technique for approaching the compliance challenge was identified and conceptualized. Anat
